FPV Gear

This is the FPV drone gear I use to film all of my videos. If you consider buying a drone, it would be awesome if you could use these affiliate links. All setups are BNF (bind and fly), so you don’t have to build or solder anything yourself.

BNF Drones:

Here are the best BNF (Bind-n-Fly) Drones I currently recommend, ranging from small indoor quads to big outdoors long rangers!

Small FPV drones (Micro quads & Cinewhoops)

Freestyle/Cinematic FPV Drones:

Long Range FPV Drones:

FPV Goggles:

I use the DJI Goggles 2 as they’re the best in terms of quality, portability and overall experience. Can’t go wrong with them!

FPV Radio:

For many years now i’ve been using RadioMaster remote controllers and I’ve always been super happy with them - especially with the build quality, which is top notch. For years I used the big boy TX16S, but recently switched to the Boxer - it’s much more manageable in terms of size and still doesn’t feel like a cheap toy in your hands. I think it’s the perfect size for those who don’t want to carry a big radio like the TX16S, but still want to have some real estate for your hands when you fly. Also - I highly recommend the AG01 gimbals - they're a bit on the expensive side, but they're worth the money for their buttery-smooth control, premium feel and extreme precision when flying.

Another great alternative is the RadioMaster Pocket - also highly recommended.

Action cameras:

I use DJI Osmo Action 4 & GoPro Hero 12 Black.

Both have their pros and cons, so you can watch my comparison video between the two below and decide which one would work better for you.

Batteries & Chargers:

The majority of the FPV Batteries I use are 6S LiPo 1300-1500 mah batteries from ChinaHobbyLine. Check out their store here

As for my charger, I use the HOTA D6 Pro Dual LiPo Charger - nothing fancy, it just works.

Tools & Miscellaneous items:

I use iFixit Toolkit for all of my building & disassembling needs. The kit is amazing and i've never needed something that it doesn't have.

Finally, here is my soldering iron setup - I keep one soldering iron in my studio and I also have this portable soldering iron which I take with my on the go for quick repairs if needed.
